Donald Trump Ranks as Second-Most Popular U.S. President of the 21st Century, Surpassing Bush and Biden in New Poll

WASHINGTON, DC — A new survey reveals that former President Donald Trump is now the second-most popular U.S. president of the 21st century, outperforming both George W. Bush and President Joe Biden in overall support.

According to the poll conducted by Quantus Insights between June 30 and July 2, which surveyed 1,000 registered voters, Barack Obama remains the most popular 21st-century president, receiving 47% of the vote. Donald Trump followed with 37%, while George W. Bush garnered 12%. Joe Biden came in last with just 4% support.

Obama continues to dominate among key voter demographics, including women (53%), Black voters (72%), college-educated respondents (53%), and younger voters under 30 (58%). He also maintains overwhelming backing among Democrats, with 85% selecting him as their most admired president of the century.

Trump’s strong second-place standing is largely driven by robust support from Republicans and older, rural voters. The poll shows that 75% of Republican respondents named him their top pick, compared to only 8% who chose Obama. Trump also leads among voters aged 65 and older, securing 50% support in that age group, compared to Obama’s 36%.

The poll underscores the deep partisan divide in presidential preferences, with Obama and Trump drawing support from sharply contrasting voter bases.
